*Activated Charcoal Will Change Your Life*
Activated charcoal is amazing and has many internal and external health benefits. It has become a staple product in my home. I use it for so many things and decided I should share this healthy gem with all of you!
*Activated Charcoal Health Benefits*
- It works wonders for cleansing and flushing toxins out of your body when taken internally.
- It helps to remove heavy metals (lead, mercury, chlorine etc) from the body
- It helps to treat someone who has been poisoned or overdosed on drugs or alcohol
- It helps to lower cholesterol
- It helps to regulate your digestive system preventing constipation and relieving gas
- It helps to freshen breath, prevent cavities, whitens your teeth
- It can be used for water filtration to kill off pesticides, industrial waste and chemicals
- Helps to heal skin ailments like acne, skin rashes, bug bites
- It great for getting rid of bad body odors
- Great for wound healing
- Great for anti-aging
- Amazing overall natural way to detox
Drink lots of water while consuming activated charcoal up to 14 glasses to ensure you’re staying hydrated, and to avoid becoming constipated during the flushing cleansing process. DO NOT take activated charcoal with prescription medications!
Be sure you purchase PURE high grade activated charcoal made from either BAMBOO or COCONUT SHELLS. They both have a higher absorption power and are very effective with trapping impurities!
To Drink:
It’s recommended that activated charcoal isn’t taken longer than 12 weeks at a time or for extended periods. Per week you can take the charcoal 2-3 times. Mix a 1 tsp of activated charcoal to 8.oz glass of water + stir + drink! Best to drink prior to your meals!
To Whiten Teeth:
Wet your tooth brush + dip brush in charcoal + brush allow to sit 10 seconds + rinse thoroughly.
I also sometimes use my Dentarome plus toothpaste + sprinkle activated charcoal on top + brush normal + allow to sit 10 seconds + rinse throughly
Face Mask:
Mix 1 tsp of activated charcoal with 2 teaspoons of honey (non-vegan for those who use honey) + rub mixture on face and allow to sit for 10 mins + rinse
Mix 1 tsp of activated charcoal with 2 teaspoons of aloe vera gel +rub mixture on face and allow to sit for 10mins + rinse
Mix 1 tsp of activated charcoal + 1 drop tea treeoil + 1 tsp aloe vera gel + rub on face + allow to sit 5 mins + rinse (This is for acne prone skin)
Mix 1 +1/2 tsp activated charcoal with 1+1/2 tsp water+ mix + rub on face + allow to sit 15-30 mins + rinse!
You can buy it in the capsule or powder form. I prefer powder form, it’s easier to scoop out what I need when using for teeth whitening or a face mask!
