*Dijon Beet Salad*
So beets are not my favorite thing to eat. If I could I would drink a sweet smoothie instead hahah but beets are amazing for you soooo I sneak them inside my meals when I can. Beets are a great source of minerals and nutrients. They are a loaded with vitamin A B& C, iron, magnesium, and beta carotene. They work great to cleanse and purify the blood, boost your immune system, and will help with providing you with a natural source of energy.
Dijon Beet Salad Ingredients:
2 Cups Romaine Lettuce
1 Cucumber
1/2 Small beet (Marinate the beets inside of a bowl with 1/2 tsp of himalayan pink seasalt for 2 hours this create a cooked texture)
6-8 Fresh Strawberries
Dijon Mustard Dressing Recipe (add more of any of the ingredients for your taste preferance):
1 tablespoon Organic Dijon mustard
2 tablespoons of organic balsamic vinegar
1+1/2 table spoons of extra virgin olive oil
Directions:
1. Rinse and chop all your salad ingredients+ plus place inside of a bowl
2. Pour all of your salad dressing ingredients on top of salad + put lid on bowl + shake ingredients
3. Place fresh strawberries on top + decorate the plate and make it pretty hehehe 😉
